Our Facebook group is a great place to get help, share your tips and creations! We are a friendly bunch, and we love to help and see what you have made.
Please read the full instructions before getting started.
Wash, dry, and press your fabric before starting your project. A bit of prep now prevents shrinking and means your garment will stay the same size you made it.
Never leave a child or baby unattended or allow to sleep in a garment made from one of our patterns with ties, snaps, buttons, or anything they could remove, choke on, or get caught on. Always use caution if you are unsure. We love our patterns, but we love your bundles of joy more!

Printing Your PatternSettings
The pattern is a separate download. Choose either the US letter paper, A4 paper, or A0 paper size based on the printer you wish to use. If you are in the US or Canada then your printer will likely use US letter paper. Other regions normally use A4 paper. Some people prefer to print their patterns at a print shop: A0 is best in this case.
Print at 100%.
On the second page, you will find a 1-inch and a 3-inch square test box. Print this page first, on its own, and measure these squares.
Once you are happy that the test box is accurate, print the rest of the pattern pages.
Please follow this video for information and assistance on assembling this pattern.
Also, please note that some Rebecca Page patterns and projects also come with cut files and a printable design page which you can use to plan your project if you wish. These are provided in a separate section below to avoid any confusion!

0.1Interfacing
Iron on interfacing to each piece of fabric using the manufacturer’s instructions
1 . Pockets1.1Starting with one of your Passport Pocket pieces, fold it in half the long way, wrong sides together.
Press to get a nice crisp edge.
OPTIONAL – Topstitch folded edge.
1.2Find center of one Passport Pocket. To do this, fold in half, matching folded edge, and finger press. If you like, you can mark this with pins or your favorite fabric chalk/marker.
Repeat steps 1.1 to 1.2 for the other Passport Pocket.
1.3Fold a Boarding Pass Pocket piece in half, wrong sides together, the long way.
Press the folded edge.
OPTIONAL – Topstitch folded edge.
Repeat for the other Boarding Pass Pocket.
All four of your pocket pieces should now be folded in half, wrong sides together.
1.4Take one of your Passport Pockets and lay it on top of a Boarding Pass Pocket, aligning raw edges opposite from your folded edges.
Topstitch along center line you marked in step 1.2. This will create your pockets.
Baste around the three raw edges.
Repeat for second set of pockets.
2 . Closure Tab2.1Attach your magnetic snap (or chosen closure device) to the Closure Tab following manufacturer’s instructions.
Tip – If you used the cut chart, rather than printing, the magnetic snap should be centered along the shorter edge and approximately 2 inches up the longer edge of the Closure Tab.
2.2Fold Closure Tab in half, right sides together.
Your fold should be halfway along the long side of your Closure Tab.
Sew both side seams.
2.3Clip corners and seams to reduce bulk.
2.4Flip right sides out and press.
Mark center of raw edges with a pin or your marking pen.
OPTIONAL – Topstitch around the three finished edges of your Closure Tab.
2.5Attach the opposite side of your magnetic snap to the outer fabric.
TIP – If you used the cut chart, rather than printing, the magnetic snap should be centered along the longer edge and approximately 1.25 inches up the shorter edge of your outer fabric.
3 . Construction3.1You will now layer all your pieces to sew it all together.
Start with your main lining fabric, face up. Line up the raw edges of one of your pocket sets with the side of the lining. Your Passport Pocket should be on top.
Repeat on the opposite side with your second pocket set.
On top of one of your Passport Pocket center stitch line, align your Closure Tab center mark, with the magnetic snap facing down.
Finally, place your main outer fabric right side down, aligning all raw edges. Make sure you place the opposite side of your magnetic snap on the opposite side from your Closure Tab.
TIP – If you are using a directional fabric, check your placement prior to stitching.
3.2Stitch all the way around your Passport Wallet, leaving a gap to turn right sides out.
Trim your seams down to around ¼ inch to reduce bulk. When you get to the gap you left to turn, clip straight in from raw edges toward stitch line about ½ inch from each edge of the gap.
3.4Topstitch all the way around the wallet. This will close the gap you left for turning.
TIP – it can be helpful to use a narrow presser foot, like a zipper foot, in order to topstitch near your magnetic snap.
OPTIONAL – add topstitching along center of wallet, where it will fold.
Give the entire wallet one more really good press.
